Improving Clinical Proficiency: Enhancing Care for Your IBS Patients will support and educate physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and physicians in primary care. This program aims to improve practice systems and optimal approaches to the diagnosis and management of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in the primary care setting.
Each practice circle - consisting of you and your peers - will be led by a faculty expert who will guide you through each stage of the program.

OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this practice improvement activity, you will be able to:

Identify at least one barrier in your organization to the identification and treatment of patients with IBS

Establish an Action Plan to implement improvements in your office-based practice for the management of patients with IBS
|
| 3) |
Develop a system to promote early detection and treatment of IBS
|

Create and implement a general management plan for patients with IBS
|
